Regan Moro is a playwright and actor from the North Country of upstate New York. She received her BFA from the University of Michigan, is an alum of the Professional Training Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville, and is currently a fellow in the Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program at The Juilliard School. Her plays–burn for You, Tremolo, and Nazi Mind–have received support from Ojai Playwrights Conference, the New York State Council on the Arts, Fault Line Theatre’s Irons in the Fire, Pride Plays in association with MCC and Rattlestick, Great Plains Theatre Conference, and Huron Station Playhouse in Los Angeles. Regan’s plays have been Finalists for the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, the Terrance McNally New Works Incubator, and the Princess Grace Award. They have also been nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, the Weissberger New Play Award, and the Ollie New Play Award from the Bret Adams and Paul Reisch Foundation. Regan is currently under commission from Manhattan Theatre Club, the Lucille Lortel Theater, and Audible Theater, and has multiple projects in development with Rachel Chavkin, Shayoak Misha Chowdhury, and Danya Taymor. She’s the middle of three sisters, and the funny gay aunt to four little boys.
