LOST BOY FOUND IN WHOLE FOODS tells the story of Christine, a middle-aged, middle-classed white woman who meets Gabriel, a former “Lost Boy” of Sudan working in the produce section of Whole Foods in Pittsburgh. Moved by the story of the trauma he survived as a child, she invites him to live with her and her teenage daughter. LOST BOY FOUND IN WHOLE FOODS explores the question of what it means to help another human being -- what responsibilities do we have; do we always know what's best? What does it mean when you open up the door to your life to someone you don't know?
