Thomas Sadoski, Tony Award nominee and recipient of a Charles Bowden Actor Award from New Dramatists, has been added to the cast for the world premiere of resident playwright Michael Golamco's Build at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.

Sadoski, a Tony nominee for Best Actor in the 2009 production of Neil LaBute's reasons to be pretty, will lead a cast that includes Laura Heisler and Peter Katona.

The play revolves around Kip (Sadoski) and Will (Katona), who became Silicon Valley legends after the viral success of their blockbuster video game. But now Will has become a suit obsessed with the bottom line, and Kip has become a recluse following the death of his wife. They reunite after Kip creates a new game, potentially worth billions, that involves an artificial-intelligence being (played by Heisler).

Build will run at the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen, with Will Frears directing. Previews begin Oct. 9, and the official opening is slated for Oct. 24 for a run through Nov. 18.
