During the civil war, Cora returned to Liberia with her 83 year-old father, an exiled former diplomat, and was almost shot by a child soldier. Each play is inspired by actual trips made in the years 2000, 2006, 2011.

This ambitious new work is being developed at New Dramatists through the Bucket List Initiative, a program supported by a grant from the Venturous Theater Fund of the Tides Foundation.
