During the civil war, Cora returned to Liberia with her 83 year old former exiled diplomat father and was almost shot by a child soldier. Each play is inspired by actual trips made in the years 2000, 2006, 2011.

Exhausted by the news and urban life, a married gay couple reconnect with an ex-girlfriend from high school on social media. To their surprise, there is a connection and the trio decide to start a family with unexpected and possibly disastrous results.
