Creativity Fund: Deb Margolin

Oct 22 2013 (All day) -- Oct 24 2013 (All day)

Turquoise (a play with many acts in one)
by Deb Margolin

We've been told by particle physicists that they've found a particle proving the whole universe is connected by an invisible fabric. This physical field theory is comically and painfully illustrated by the way a man with a memory of only seven seconds, and two fifteen-year-old boys, unknowingly and gracefully share a world with two very old people, awake all night trying to remember the word that is the title of this play. That word is never spoken. (First explored in June 2013, this is the second developmental installment, in which, Deb will surround herself with artist-collaborators to continue investigating her new play.)

The working portion of this Creativity Fund project is closed. There will be a public presentation of the work in progress on Friday, October 25.

Creativity Fund offers playwrights the opportunity to workshop new plays or musicals for up to five days.
