Tanya Barfield

Before Midnight (working title)
book and lyrics by Tanya Barfield
music and lyrics by Clark Suprynowicz
directed by Patricia McGregor

It's 1967. Race riots ignite in America's cities. A charismatic band of revolutionaries throws gas on the fire, hoping a better America will rise from the ashes. A young black man arrives in town to join the movement. An FBI agent is given an assignment he can’t stomach. A swaggering outlaw is surveilled. And every Saturday, a roomful of kids need their pancake breakfast.
