The Sea The Mountains The Forest The City The Plain is a solo piece inspired by a line from Samuel Beckett's Texts for Nothing.

A man loses sight of his companion at the beginning of their journey together. In this darkly comic monologue, he recounts his travails as he attempts to recover his former path, and catch up with his lost friend. The Sea The Mountain The Forest The City The Plain explores the many places we may find ourselves lost, and what drives us forward even after we are abandoned.

Performed by Matthew Trumbull.
