Matthew Freeman works with director Jessi Hill, composer Edmund Cionek, and a group of actors in a four-day exploration adding music to his play The Starving Dress.

The Jerry A. Tishman Playwrights Creativity Fund supports 3-5 day playwright-driven projects. The Fund is sustained in perpetuity by the Jerry A. Tishman Living Trust, with current support from the Scherman Foundation's Katharine S. & Axel Rosin Fund and the Time Warner Foundation. It was established in 2008 by a lead grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
