PlayTime Developmental Studio

Nov 6 2014 (All day) -- Nov 21 2014 (All day)

New Dramatists presents the 13th annual PlayTime, a 2-week laboratory retreat for five plays-in-progress designed to give playwrights the opportunity to explore, workshop, rethink, and revise ambitious new works of theatre by drawing from a supportive company of collaborators, including actors, directors, process facilitators, dramaturgs, stage managers, staff, fellow playwrights, among others. The round-the-clock schedule offers intensive and flexible time for rehearsal, rewrites, feedback, and community engagement. PlayTime has helped bring close to fifty plays to fruition since 2001. PlayTime offers our writers one of the most extended, intensive developmental processes available within our year-round artistic programming.
